Abstract:- This paper explores the role of emotional intelligence (EI) as a catalyst for holistic learning in virtual classrooms, with a focus on aligning global practices to the vision of India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. As remote learning expands worldwide, students often lack the emotional support that traditionally facilitated holistic development. We systematically review recent literature on EI in education, examining its impact both in traditional classrooms and in online contexts.
