Abstract:- The contemporary situation in India reveals that generally children with special needs are sent to special schools. At present initiative are being taken both by administration and private sector to make education inclusive in nature. Inclusive education means that all children, regardless of their strength or weaknesses are accommodated in a school and become part of the same school community. This assessment was conducted to look into the attitude of students towards inclusive education and personality dimensions with special needs studying in special schools and those in inclusive schools of West Bengal. Information Schedule, Questionnaire and interview were used to collect data. Sample comprised of 320 students with special needs of West Bengal. The study provides an overview of attitude towards inclusive education of the students with hearing and visual impairment.
