Abstract:- Technology has emerged as a powerful tool for facilitating social reform and enhancing the implementation of public policy in the era of rapid digital transformation. This article critically examines the role of digital interventions particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and social media in promoting gender equality through the Indian government’s flagship initiative, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan (BBBP). Launched in 2015, BBBP was envisioned to address declining child sex ratios, promote the education of the girl child, and advance gender-based equity in a deeply patriarchal society.
